The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) was constituted in SJU-N to address the issues which might occur at any means on Discrimination against any person on the grounds of his/her disability or physical limitations and minority status is a gross violation of universally accepted principles of equality and human rights and even constitutional obligations.
The primary objective of the Equal Opportunity Cell is to ensure that students and faculty from diverse backgrounds—whether based on community, religion, region, gender, or ability—are not denied fundamental opportunities. Everyone should have access to essential rights to foster inclusivity and harmony. The cell organizes various activities to promote inclusive policies and practices, addressing grievances to ensure equality and equal opportunities for disadvantaged groups on campus. This is achieved through the effective implementation of societal policies, skills development, and programs.
