DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH
To promote and influence humanity and civilization through learning and research in language, literature, rhetoric and critical thinking and practicing the great principles of the rights of man to life, equality, liberty, fraternity and the pursuit of happiness.
To provide appropriate liberal learning pedagogies and research environments to balance the needs of communication, aesthetics, diversity, ethical responsibility, global perspectives, and interdisciplinary studies to understand, problematize and appreciate languages, literatures and cultures at local, regional and global dimensions.
